Our conflict resolution course is designed to enhance your peoples understanding, skills and knowledge in recognising, managing and resolving conflict situations effectively.


They will be provided with strategies, techniques, models and theories to address conflict in a constructive, safe and confident manner.


The workplace must be a safe place for employees. The grade of services provided are negatively impacted by violent behaviour, which has an impact on them directly as well as indirectly. Conflict Resolution Training (CRT) is an essential preventative strategy for addressing violence against front-line staff members. It is one of several steps taken to make workplaces in public sector organisations safer.

  • Describe the common causes of conflict and identify the different stages of a conflict,
  • Learn from their own experience of conflict situations to develop strategies to reduce the opportunity for conflict in the future,
  • Indicate the level of emphasis that can be placed on verbal and non-verbal communication during a conflict situation,
  • Understand the impact that cultural differences may have about communication,
  • Identify the causes of communication break down and the importance of creating conditions for communication to succeed,
  • Utilise three communication models that would assist in dealing with different levels of conflict,
  • Recognise the behavioural pattern of individuals during a conflict,
  • Recognise the warning and danger signals displayed by individuals during a conflict situation including the signs that may indicate the possibility of physical attack,
  • Identify the procedural and environmental factors affecting conflict situations and recognise their importance in decision making,
  • Understand the importance of keeping a safe distance in conflict situations,
  • Explain the use of ‘reasonable force’ as described in law and its limitations and requirements,
  • Identify the range of support, both short and long-term, available to those affected by a violent incident, and
  • Understand the need to provide support to those directly affected by violent conflict and the broader organisational benefits of this.

Good to know


  • Before the course each delegate will be asked to complete a Pre-Course Briefing Form to determine their individual objectives for attending the course. These objectives will be used by the Tutor to give on-target training that is focused on the individual delegates.
  • At the end of the course each delegate will be asked to complete a Personal Development Plan that can be used as part of future appraisals, and that will also be an important tool for management reference.

  • How can I register for a training course?

    • To register online through our website, please click “Enroll Now” on the course page, complete and submit the form. A confirmation e-mail and instructions will be sent to the participant’s e-mail.

  • When and how do I arrange payments?

    • Payments can be made in Pounds Sterling or UAE local currency AED (Arab Emirates Dirhams) either by Bank Transfer or by Credit Card. Our Bank Account details will be provided on the invoice.
    • Course fees are payable upon booking unless a valid, authorised Purchase Order is provided and accepted.
    • Invoices will be sent via email/courier to the ID/name and address provided.
    • The course fee shall be settled prior to course start date. Corporate payments with existing payment policy shall be relayed to us in advance.
  • When should I expect to receive confirmation of registration?

    Upon successful registration online, enrolment on the respective training course will be confirmed by Registration Team by e-mail along with the invoice and joining instruction.

  • Is there a discount for more than one registrant/course?

    For corporate fees and group registration, please send your query to support@distinguished-crt.world. We would be more than happy to discuss reduced fees for multiple reservations.
