Our breakaway course is developed to assist staff groups in getting away from harm and subsequent dangers.


While also knowing the legal and medical issues of utilising any physical skills practise, these basic, effective techniques aim to give your employees the practical abilities and knowledge to disengage from an individual's grasp, creating an opportunity to escape. Each session includes both theoretical and practical skills, giving you the tools you need to fulfil the demands of your business, whilst keeping your clients and your staff members safe.

1. Legal Frameworks in breakaway training


  • Introduction to relevant legal guidelines and regulations concerning self-defence and personal safety.
  • Understanding the rights and responsibilities when facing an attack or potential harm.


2. Understanding the Causes and Build-up of an Attack


  • Identifying early warning signs and potential triggers of aggressive behaviour.
  • Analysing situational factors that may escalate confrontations.
  • Recognizing the importance of situational awareness and proactive decision-making.


3. Actions to Avoid Being Restrained or Attacked


  • Demonstrating proactive techniques to create distance and avoid potentially dangerous situations.
  • Teaching strategies to de-escalate conflicts and defuse aggressive encounters.
  • Understanding the importance of effective communication and conflict resolution.


4. Safely Disengage from Being Held


  • Training in practical techniques to break free from physical restraints or holds.
  • Exploring methods to maintain balance and leverage in critical situations.
  • Practicing safe and controlled responses to physical threats.


5. Safely Disengage Another Person from Being Held


  • Participants will learn intervention techniques to assist others who are being restrained or attacked.
  • Understanding how to provide support without endangering oneself or exacerbating the situation.
  • Emphasizing teamwork and cooperation during interventions.


6. Post-Incident Actions


  • Understanding the importance of self-assessment and seeking medical attention if necessary.
  • Comprehending legal obligations, such as reporting incidents and cooperating with authorities.
  • Identifying available support systems for coping with the aftermath of a confrontational event.


7. Record Keeping and De-Briefing


  • Highlighting the significance of accurate documentation following any incident.
  • Exploring best practices for recording details and preserving evidence.
  • Conducting de-briefing sessions to analyse responses, identify areas for improvement, and enhance preparedness.

  • How can I register for a training course?

    • To register online through our website, please click “Enroll Now” on the course page, complete and submit the form. A confirmation e-mail and instructions will be sent to the participant’s e-mail.

  • When and how do I arrange payments?

    • Payments can be made in Pounds Sterling or UAE local currency AED (Arab Emirates Dirhams) either by Bank Transfer or by Credit Card. Our Bank Account details will be provided on the invoice.
    • Course fees are payable upon booking unless a valid, authorised Purchase Order is provided and accepted.
    • Invoices will be sent via email/courier to the ID/name and address provided.
    • The course fee shall be settled prior to course start date. Corporate payments with existing payment policy shall be relayed to us in advance.
  • When should I expect to receive confirmation of registration?

    Upon successful registration online, enrolment on the respective training course will be confirmed by Registration Team by e-mail along with the invoice and joining instruction.

  • Is there a discount for more than one registrant/course?
